MCI-Advanced is built on the same platform as MCI-Base — the same transport path and tabletop. The difference is in the set of included-by-default options: reel markup and navigation come included on Advanced at no extra cost, while digital viewing, scanning, certification and microfiche handling are available as options on both models.
